Our client is active in construction specializing in infrastructure of fiber optic networks. Most of the workers of our client are from his subcontractors. In the Netherlands the contractor companies are responsible for the workers of its subcontractors. In that sense, the management of the contractors’ worker is an important issue for our client.

For this client we tailored our INNfra solution according to their needs. Its main subcontractors can use our solution as their resource planning program. In this way the data between subcontractors and contractors can be exchanged online. For instance when the subcontractor hires a new worker who will work for our client, the personnel file of the worker can be sent to our client as an XML file. The XML file can be saved in the system of our client. And our client do not need to re-access all these information to his system.

INNfra software has a planning tool enable to utilize the limited resources of a construction company. With the modifications we do on our system, now our client can see the workers and vehicles of its subcontractors. It enables our client to assign available vehicles and workers of its subcontractors to its projects. When our client reserved a worker or vehicle for a project, the reservation request goes to related subcontractor. If the subcontractor accepts this reservation request, then the client receives a warning note and these workers/vehicles are shown as occupied in the system of the subcontractor.

These functionalities enable our client to manage the resources of its subcontractors efficiently. Moreover it reduces re-work on data entry and prevented any legal sanctions due to subcontractors’ inability on personnel management.
